Testimonies:
"Our congregation was blessed as Eric helped us understand that discipleship in Jesus' day was far different from the "easy believism that does not ask for changed living" that is so prevalent in America today. Eric was a blessing to us." Pastor Linden Good- Mechanicsburg Christian Church, Mechanicsburg, Ohio
"Eric has spoken twice at our church and his enthusiasm and Bible knowledge came through loud and clear! His insights into the Jewish context of Jesus' ministry will open a deeper understanding for your congregation." Rev. Ed Beale- Pastor, Sugar Grove United Methodist Church , Washington Court House, Ohio
"Our church was honored to have Eric Chabot with us in 2007. His talk on the resurrection was phenomenal. I have never seen this aspect of the resurrection and now understand it from a Jewish perspective. Any church would be blessed to have Eric share on any of the topics he presents." Pastor Bill Hayes- Hillview Church- Reynoldsburg, Ohio
"Eric Chabot brought the message "Is Jesus the Only Way to Salvation" to the Valleyview congreation. His presentation was intense, informative, and challenging. We printed copies of his Power Point presentation slides for all those who wanted his notes in their personal files, to strengthen their own "defense" of our faith." Pastor Wallace White- Valleyview Evangelical Friends Church, Delaware, Ohio
" Eric Chabot blessed our hearts with a renewed vision for the support of Christian missions to God's chosen nation Israel. The Holy Spirit has blessed Eric with fervent desire to see to it that Israel will hear the only true gospel of salvation which is found through Jesus Christ our Lord. He has a passion to educate the churches of our Lord Jesus with the knowledge of the truth of the Word of God. Eric is straight forward and to the point, "I loved it, and I look forward to having him return in the future"! Pastor Jeffrey Davenport-Airway Baptist Church,Dayton, OH.
“Eric presented to a room full of seekers an informative and challenging message surrounding the facts of Christ’s resurrection. Eric was sensitive to his audience and let the facts be known in an open manner respecting all faiths and worldviews. Everyone was challenged to face the undeniable truths surrounding the empty tomb. It was a great breakfast during the Easter season where Eric’s approachable style was the core reason for its success. I would highly encourage others to invite gifted servants like Eric from the greater body of Christ to help reach your friends and neighbors with the truth of God’s word.” Patrick Schumer- Volunteer Home Church leader in Xenos Christian Fellowship, Columbus , Ohio
" I have personally had Eric do two presentations on the resurrection at outreach luncheons. Eric's presentation was informative and definitely will strengthen your faith as a Christian. He also did a great job of presenting the evidence for the resurrection in a way that will compel any seeker to look into the case for Christ." Rob Mitchell- Faith Assembly Worship Center, London, OH- Adult Sunday School Teacher
“The two classes that I have taken with Eric have been very valuable and fruitful studies that continue to impact my life. I think Eric is so effective as a teacher because he is passionate about the Truth, which he presents logically and concisely, balanced with a humble and winsome style. Throughout the first class I took, I spoke so highly of it at home that my college-aged daughter wanted to take one of Eric's apologetics class with me. She felt that it was a terrific outlet to help her stay "plugged in" during her first year at a secular school. She was bolstered and encouraged by his teaching in apologetics, and has already found ways to apply what she learned in reaching others on campus. We both appreciate Eric's willingness to answer questions and to pass on suggestions for continuing study to build on the information he covers in class." ~ Susan Shaw- student, Messianic Studies Institute
I completed Eric Chabot's class on The Resurrection/Myth or Fact? at Beth Messiah's Messianic Studies Institute. It was through this class that I met the Jewish Messiah Yeshua( Jesus Christ) for the first time. Though I was a believer , and had been following for many years, it was Eric's precise and anointed instruction on the facts of the resurrection that brought me face to face with the risen Messiah anew. It is my opinion that each and every person possible needs to hear this clear , factual, and riveting presentation. Truly God has brought Eric to the Kingdom for such a time as this. I would encourage anyone who is looking to grow in their faith or looking to better be prepared to give an answer for their faith, to invite Eric to speak to their group or organization. Janice Stewart - Student Messianic Studies Institute.

Apologetics and Outreach: Sermon, Power Point Optional- Afternoon Seminar:
95% of all professing Christians have never attempted to share their faith. Out of that 5%, only 2% share on a regular basis. Now Jesus said in John 14:15 "if you love me, you will keep my commandments". The Great Commission in Mark16:15 tell us to "go into the world to preach the gospel to every creature." Remember that Europe and Canada are post-Christian. Christians cannot afford to play it safe by not engaging the culture.
In his book Evangelism and the Early Church, author Michael Green notes that the early church advanced the gospel through the first four centuries because of three things: (1) The ability to engage in persuasive apologetics and outthink her opponents, (2) The transformed character and Biblical compassion of believers, (3) The manifest power of the kingdom of God. How do you know your faith is true? We will cover the following points:
1. Truth: With the loss of objective truth, we have to re-establish the nature of truth as well and why truth is knowable. Many people have opted out for a pragmatic or relativistic view of truth. In other words, a large majority of our culture, (especially young people) have become convinced what is true or relevant is whatever works right now. According to one the Barna studies, 72 percent of teens believe that "you can tell if something is morally/ethically right for you by whether or not it works in your life." Pluralism is the belief that every religion is true. Each provides a genuine encounter with the Ultimate, and while others may be better than others, all are adequate. How can biblical Christians make an exclusive truth claim that Jesus is the only way of salvation for mankind?
2. The Existence of God: We will cover some of the arguments for God’s existence without using the Bible.
3. Miracles: Are they possible? If miracles are not possible, there is way to justify Christianity as true.
4. The New Testament: We will discuss why the New Testament can be trusted as a reliable source of information for the life of Jesus. We will look at the historical tests that historians apply to the New Testament.
5. Jesus: His deity and resurrection: Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, "Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets." He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 16:13-17). As of today, we see that people are still trying to answer the same question that Jesus asked Peter 2,000 years ago. In The Case For The Real Jesus, Lee Strobel says if you search for Jesus at Amazon.com, you will find 175, 986 books on the most controversial figure in human history. We will look at why Jesus is the Jewish Messiah and issues surrounding His deity.
6. Why the Bible is the Word of God? If Jesus is the Messiah, what did He teach about The Bible?
Is Jesus the only way of salvation? Sermon or Power Point:
Pluralism is the belief that every religion is true. Each provides a genuine encounter with the Ultimate, and while others may be better than others, all are adequate How can Biblical Christians make an exclusive truth claim that Jesus is the only way of salvation for mankind? Through the use of logic and critical thinking, apologetics can help answer the differences between world religions.
God and the University: 3 out of 4 Christian teens walk away from the church after they leave home. Why is this happening? What can be done about it? I will share some testimonies of my evangelism and outreach efforts on the Ohio State campus, which is now the largest campus in the United States. We will discuss some ways that parents and pastors can equip themselves to handle this problem.
